Mindful Living Therapy was founded in 2019 by Simone after several years working in community mental health across Toronto and York Region. She opened a virtual practice to provide accessible, client-centred therapy for a wide range of concerns. Our team includes Registered Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapists.

I am here to provide you with a space for your own growth and healing. Whether you’re dealing with disordered eating, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression or challenging life circumstances, I will do my best to help you understand yourself deeper, know how to identify and meet your own needs and most important of all: be patient and kind toward yourself.
My formal education is a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. I have taken coursework in Intuitive Eating, CBT, DBT and trauma-informed practices. My philosophy is to tailor our sessions to your individual needs and your unique strengths. I combine my formal education with over a decade of experience in mental health as well as my own personal growth and healing journey to provide you with a well-rounded, personal approach. In 2016, I was nominated for a “Business Person of Character” from the Character Community Foundation.
I will treat you with the utmost respect and confidentiality and I will always welcome your feedback on how I can better support you. We will work collaboratively on your goals.

Ari Mastro

Ari is a unique therapist with lots of lived experiences of navigating unjust societal and cultural systems and beliefs. He is very passionate about working with diverse populations and really getting to the bottom of how each individual is shaped by their past and current environment. With deep understanding, he is able to help clients to change their beliefs about themselves and their place in the world. Ari has plenty of experience in working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, self-worth, trauma, loss and navigating an unjust world while staying true to individual values.

Ashley is your no nonsense guide to reality. She will be compassionate and caring and she will challenge you to be the best version of you. Ashley has lots of experience in helping clients struggling with relationship issues, trauma, stress management, life fulfillment and just navigating the demands of everyday life. She is very passionate about working with individuals and couples to improve their relationship with deepened trust and connection. She is even more passionate about helping everybody to feel their best and live their best life.

Jelum Raval
Registered Psychotherapist

Jelum is a busy bee who has a wide range of experiences in working with individuals, families and couples. She has helped many clients to deal with ADHD, anxiety, work stress, relationships issues, self-esteem, self-acceptance, grief and long-term disability. She also has particular knowledge of using somatic techniques to help clients connect to the wisdom of their bodies in changing and healing. Jelum is very warm and personable with lots of positive and encouraging energy. Jelum really is a bit of an encyclopedia of mental health knowledge.

Mikayla Johnson

Mikayla is a kind and gentle soul who will lead you in giving yourself compassion and guide you on the next steps to help you get unstuck. She has a wide range of experiences in working with general mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, stress management, finding direction during transitional stages of life and working through relationship challenges. She also has particular experiences in working with child and teen mental health, addressing self-esteem and body image and navigating issues around identity and race.

Sunita Prasad

Sunita is a seasoned pro in the mental health field with over 20 years of experience. She has worked with clients from every age group and all walks of life on issues including: ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues and parenting. Sunita has a can-do attitude on helping clients to reflect on their behaviours and make changes to improve their mood, functioning and overall life satisfaction. She is someone that can lead with a sense of hope and optimism to every situation and this is a key factor to bring about change in behaviour and outlook.
